PROJECT CAIRNS

The Brief

Our clients have resided in this home for the past few decades, having raised a family here who are now grown, and also having seen their surrounding suburb grow around them in scale and height. This beautiful old Queenslander is thankfully heritage protected, with its owners wanting to refresh it whilst retaining its traditional colour scheme.

What We Did

We undertook a full exterior repaint after first providing a full wash down of all surfaces to remove the city dust and grime. We began with the upper level, completing all works here first whilst we had safety rails installed, before we headed down to tackle the main level of the home. All broader areas were completed first, followed by the verandah details (lattice, balustrades etc), the staircase, sub-floor area and the painted timber decking.
