PROJECT LAUREL

THE BRIEF

‘Tiny Tin’ is possibly the sweetest name for a project that we’ve worked on thus far, although credit needs to be given to the architect for the moniker for this little home! This project is an old worker’s cottage that has undergone a substantial renovation to modernise it inside and out, creating a beautiful two bedroom home. We were brought in to complete all painting works during the course of the renovation.

WHAT WE DID

Our works were completed in stages to align with the ongoing renovation, beginning with the upper level exterior. Here we spent a lot of time working with the old boards to bring them back to order, ready for repainting. From there, we progressed through the interior which was all newly fitted out but still included traditional features of a worker’s cottage, with VJ cladding and fanlights above the doorways. Lastly, we completed the remainder of the exterior of the home and the new timber decking, creating a bright and lightly coloured home that in our opinion, is definitely the best in the street!
